The fourth season of All American premieres tonight (Monday, October 25) at 8:00 p.m. on The CW. New episodes will once again be available for next-day streaming on The CW website and CW app, but when will Season 4 of All American arrive on Netflix? Will All American Season 4 be available for next-day streaming on Netflix?

Now that All American season 3 has concluded, here's what viewers can expect to see in All American season 4, including when it will be released. The CW's hit football drama based on Spencer Paysinger's pre-NFL career stars Daniel Ezra as Spencer James, a star high school football player. All American's increased popularity after season 2 dropped on Netflix, which made season 3 among The CW's most anticipated shows. And while the network is known for the Arrowverse, All American has carved out a strong fanbase.

The story of All American season 3 focused on Spencer after he transferred back to South Crenshaw High School. He promised to bring the school a state title to try and prevent the school board from turning it into a magnet school. The quest for a state title wasn't easy, as South Crenshaw struggled early on. All American season 3 didn't just focus on football, though, as it touched on the Black Lives Matter movement, Olivia's addiction, and romance. Viewers responded very well to most of the latest storylines, and The CW didn't wait long before confirming that All American was renewed for season 4.

The CW announced All American season 4 at the beginning of 2021, only a few weeks after the season 3 premiere. This gave fans a sense of ease about the future of the show, even if they still had to wait and see exactly what series creator April Blair had in store for the characters. Now that All American season 3 is complete, here's everything to know about All American season 4's release date, story, and the upcoming spinoff.

The early renewal for All American season 4 means it already has a place in The CW's fall 2021 schedule. All American season 4 is scheduled to debut on October 25, 2021. The new season will retain its 8 pm EST air time on Monday nights. The October launch for All American is consistent with the release plan for the first two seasons. Season 3 was delayed until January 2021, but The CW won't make audiences wait longer than normal to see how Spencer James' story continues.

The story of All American season 4 is sure to hit the ground running with how many storylines the season 3 finale left unresolved. South Crenshaw and New Beverly's battle for the state championship was only teased, with the actual game slated to unfold during season 4. It also ended with the cliffhanger of Mo shooting Coop and Preach shooting Mo. One if not both of them could die early on next season. Meanwhile, Layla has started to leave town with Carrie, who left a note for Layla's father to find stating that she won't come back. There is also Asher's newly revealed heart condition, Olivia and Spencer officially dating, and the upcoming All-American game that will factor into All American season 4's story.

In addition to All American season 4, The CW is making a spinoff show revolving around Simone Hicks. The spinoff stars Geffri Maya and is titled All American: Homecoming. It will focus on Simone as she attends Bringston University, a historically Black college, and pursues her tennis career. Peyton Alex Smith is the co-lead, as he'll play a top high school baseball prospect named Damon Sims who turned down a shot at the MLB to attend Bringston instead. All American: Homecoming is expected to debut on The CW in January 2022.

Another season of The CW's All American is coming to an end, and fans fortunately don't have to worry about the show's future after the Season 3 finale thanks to an early renewal for Season 4. That said, there will be a wait to find out what happens after the episode that airs on July 19. So, when will All American be back with the fourth season? The CW has already revealed the premiere date, as well as some exciting information about the All American spinoff.

All American will be back for Season 4 on The CW on Monday, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET, and it will be followed by the series premiere of the new sci-fi drama 4400. That means a wait of a little over three months from the third season finale to the fourth season premiere in the 2021-2022 TV season, but at least that's a shorter length than if All American ended in the spring of 2021, like the first two seasons did with their March finales.

Plus, there's more good news on the All American front in the 2021-2022 TV season. Spinoff All American: Homecoming will launch in the coming season as well, with The CW planning on a midseason premiere date that should place the first episode in early 2022. The All American spinoff will be a young adult sports drama like the parent series, but set at Bringston University, where Black excellence is a way of life. Geffri Maya's Simone will be at the center of the action as she tries to fight her way back to the top in tennis after spending some time away.

So the 2021-2022 TV season will feature plenty of All American action for fans to enjoy, with Season 4 of the original series and the first season of the Homecoming spinoff. All American was actually renewed all the way back in early February, after just a few episodes of Season 3 had aired. It was a mass renewal of all twelve current CW shows that weren't already ending, such as Supergirl and Black Lightning with their 2021 series finales.

The Season 3 finale of All American airs on Monday, July 19 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW, and will be back on October 25. You can also find the first two seasons streaming on Netflix now.
